Reclaimed Cedar Seating Set

Made from reclaimed eastern white cedar which would have otherwise ended up in the dumpster. Spared from this fate the wood was cleaned of nails, planed and sanded to remove the worn outer layer and expose the natural colour of the wood's grain. 

The bench and accompanying table were constructed to match and are built out of an exposed cedar skeleton wrapped with cedar slats that go around the perimeter. The corners are solid 4x4 cedar posts and act as legs for the bench and table. Finished with exterior grade wood varnish to persevere the natural colour of the wood while keeping it protected from the elements.
